Petra arrived at our clinic after deciding to play… Superman, falling from a building floor!
Essential diagnostics performed to assess her condition:
– Thoracic radiographs
– Abdominal ultrasound
– Blood tests
During the clinical examination, a cleft palate was identified.
Surgical correction should be performed promptly to prevent secondary complications (e.g., aspiration).
A temporary nasoesophageal feeding tube was placed to facilitate feeding, and Petra is now recovering well!
