Eazy – Gastrointestinal Lymphoma

Meet Eazy, the cat who took on cancer… and is winning!

He came to our clinic with chronic gastrointestinal problems and weight loss. After extensive imaging and bloodwork, we decided to proceed with an intestinal biopsy.

Diagnosis: Gastrointestinal lymphoma.

Eazy is now in his 14th week of chemotherapy, and his progress makes us all happy — his gastrointestinal symptoms have resolved, and he has regained weight.

This case reminds us that certain types of cancer can be managed successfully with the right treatment protocols, giving patients an excellent quality of life and a satisfactory life expectancy. Therefore, even when we receive difficult news, we should not condemn our four-legged friends from the start. Have an open discussion with your veterinarian and explore all options to give them a happy, fulfilling life.
